 'We can't think about Libertadores without going through URT', says América-MG coach

Marquinhos Santos is already entering "Libertadores Mode", to face Guarni-PAR, next week, in Coelho's debut in international competitions

América-MG entered the “Libertadores da América Mode”. Coelho, which debuts in the international competition next Wednesday, February 23, at home, against Guarani-PAR, in the pre-group stage of the tournament, ended the tests in the team for its debut in the biggest competition on the continent.

At least that's what coach Marquinhos Santos says, when he says that the game against Patrocinense (American victory by 2 to 0) was the last one to evaluate possibilities in the team. The American coach also kept his "feet on the ground", avoiding "woohoo" before Coelho played for the first time in an official international tournament in its history.

Marquinhos Santos said that it's no use thinking about Libertadores without playing against URT, opponents on Saturday, February 19, for the Campeonato Mineiro.
